Some ATV Mufflers - - require welding to the stock exhaust in order for the - to be attached. Our ATV Mufflers - - have easy installation and are not permanent; they can be removed as desired. The adapter for the ATV Mufflers - -, if needed, will be the only permanent attachment made to the stock -. The ATV Mufflers is ideal for hunters who want to be quiet in the woods. The ATV Mufflers - attaches to the stock -. If there is not enough lip or tail pipe to attach to, then an adapter is required to complete the installation. Some adapters need to be welded to the stock pipe to create an attachment point. Other models have an optional bolt on adapter that is available for an extra $21.95. Also, there are some models that do not require any type of adapter. Some particular ATV Mufflers Adapters - need to be welded to the tail pipe that drops out the bottom of stock -. This gives the silencer something to attach to. The silencer is not permanent, just the 1 1/2" adapter. Note: The ATV Mufflers - is not a permanent device, you can choose to leave it on or take it off by 2 bolt hangers. The ATV Mufflers - is easy to install. Depending on whether or not an adapter is needed, here are is the general procedure. The ATV Mufflers is slid over the attached adapter, if needed. Drill 2 small holes in the cross member. Then place the silencer onto the adapter and insert bolts through flat hanger brackets and through cross member. Follow with rubber grommets, washer, and nut. Tighten for secure hold.
